Giving in Gratitude for Compassionate Organizations and Individuals

Prior to founding Life is Grand, Lauren was a single mother raising three daughters on her own. She understands how difficult life can be when taking care of others--whether it be as a single mother, a family member caring for a loved one who is chronically ill or suffering from dementia, physical or emotional disabilities, or any other caretaker--including physicians, PA's or nursing professionals dealing with long term illnesses of their patients. We want to celebrate these compassion heroes and give back just a little something special. Life is Grand wants to celebrate those compassionate, caring heroes that give without expecting anything in return! Please help us by donating today!  We will be honoring individuals and organizations based on nominations and their stories.

Our fund-raising efforts: Compassionate Organizations like Genesis Women's Shelter, Hope's Seed, BraveWoman help make life grand!

Life is Grand has chosen Genesis Women's Shelter as one of our charter organizations because we are now employing some of their women residents to help make our beautiful jewelry!

In addition, Life is Grand will be sponsoring and raising awareness for projects like National Homeless and Hunger Awareness, Compassion Fatigue, Saving Grace and other organizations brought to us through our customers and community.

Here is a sampling of some of the programs/organizations we support through your purchases:

Founded in 1981, Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship was the first therapeutic riding center in Texas for children and adults with all types of disabilities and learning differences. This program quickly became an industry leader in equine-assisted therapy; building a solid base in the North Texas community serving thousands of clients with unique therapy tools ~ horses!

Genesis provides shelter, safety, counseling, and expert services to battered women and their children.
